Symptom: Apple clang aborted the test before a single assertion ran.
Root cause: AP_Param sizes a parameter table by scanning for an AP_VAREND sentinel, and this test’s table carried none, so the scan ran off the end. That is a read out of bounds, which the compiler proves and compiles into a trap.
Fix: Traced it from the trap address and added the terminator.

Symptom: A frame resolved against itself came back with a residual near 2⁻⁵⁶, enough to tilt a joint axis on macOS arm64.
Root cause: resolvePose composed an edge chain with its own inverse for that case: identity in real arithmetic, not in floating point.
Fix: Returned identity directly for that case, keeping the first resolve call so diagnostics are unchanged, with a unit test and an SDF fixture.

Symptom: gz model reported a joint axis of [0 1.26714e-17 1] on macOS arm64, with two expectations switched off behind an #ifndef __aarch64__ rather than explained.
Root cause: The sdformat self-resolve residual above.
Fix: Fixed the cause upstream in sdformat first, then reverted the skip exactly and put both checks back.

Symptom: Deleting a selected section crashed the editor.
Root cause: The handler cleared activeSectionId inside a runInAction block, then compared that same value to decide whether to reset the right panel, so the reset never fired and the panel kept editing a section that was gone.
Fix: Read the id before the mutation, with a regression test for the delete.

Symptom: create_parameter raised AttributeError on every call.
Root cause: It called params.createInput(), which does not exist on Fusion 360’s UserParameters collection.
Fix: Replaced it with the API that does the job in one, UserParameters.add(name, valueInput, unit, comment).
